Court Orders Must Be Followed: Dilip Ghosh Urges Mamata and Abhishek to Cooperate with CBI Investigation

Kolkata, July 11: West Bengal Minister Dilip Ghosh launched a sharp attack on the Trinamool Congress, former Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, and MP Abhishek Banerjee on Saturday while responding to various issues. He addressed topics such as adherence to court directives, investigations by central agencies, industrialization in the state, and law and order.

In response to court directives related to Abhishek Banerjee, Minister Ghosh emphasized that following court orders is mandatory for everyone. He noted that investigations by the CBI and ED are ongoing against Abhishek and Mamata Banerjee, and they sought legal protection through the courts to evade scrutiny.

Ghosh questioned why there is resistance to cooperating with the court when it is directing collaboration in the investigation. He stated that it is inappropriate to seek the court’s assistance and then oppose its directives.

Regarding industrialization in West Bengal, the minister claimed that multiple attempts have been made to establish industries in the state, but various factors have hindered progress. Issues such as forced interventions, the syndicate system, and land disputes have forced many industries to cease operations.

Dilip Ghosh asserted that law and order have improved since the new government took office, and efforts are underway to provide a better environment for entrepreneurs. According to him, this is increasing the potential for investment and the establishment of new businesses.

In response to former Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s recent claims, Ghosh stated that such statements are merely attempts to create an emotional atmosphere and gain sympathy. He accused her administration of incidents such as murders, harassment of individuals, syndicate operations, and crimes against women. He also mentioned that the opposition is not being silenced and that everyone has the right to express their views in a democratic system.

Ghosh reiterated that if an individual can seek relief from the courts during investigations by agencies, they should also respect court directives and cooperate with the investigation. He emphasized that maintaining law and order and respecting constitutional institutions is everyone’s responsibility.
