Nora Fatehi Challenges Stereotypes of Good Girls in Society

Mumbai, May 7: Actress and dancer Nora Fatehi continues to make headlines with her stunning dance moves. On Wednesday, she shared her thoughts on the conservative perceptions surrounding the idea of a ‘good girl’ in society. She emphasized that a girl’s worth should not be judged by her attire or demeanor, but rather by her heart and honesty.

Nora posted a clip from a podcast on Instagram, where she discussed the outdated notions imposed by society regarding what it means to be a ‘good girl.’ She questioned the double standards prevalent in society, stating, “We have completely misunderstood the concept of a ‘good girl.’ People often create a good image on the outside, but their true story is quite different. It’s all just a facade.”

Elaborating further, she noted that if a girl wears a crop top or chooses her preferred clothing, it does not make her a bad person. “True goodness lies in not causing harm to others, not deceiving anyone, and always speaking the truth,” she asserted.

Nora believes that we often give undue importance to superficial aspects. She stated, “A girl’s true identity should be defined by her intentions and behavior, not her clothing. Anyone can create their own identity and present themselves as they wish, but ultimately, what matters is how pure their heart is.”

Nora Fatehi is a renowned Canadian dancer, model, and actress. She rose to fame overnight with the song ‘Dilbar’ from the film ‘Satyamev Jayate’ (2018), which became one of the most viewed songs on YouTube at that time. Following this, she established her presence in Bollywood with hits like ‘Saki Saki’ and ‘Kamariya.’
