Noida Residents Can Now Report Street Light Issues via Mobile App

Noida, August 31: In a significant move to enhance street lighting services in urban and rural areas, the Noida Authority has launched a new mobile application. Residents can now report issues related to malfunctioning or non-operational street lights from the comfort of their homes. The app, named ‘Noida Smart LED Light,’ has been developed by Tata and is aimed at streamlining the complaint registration process.

According to the authority, this digital initiative is designed for the quick and organized resolution of street light complaints. Citizens can easily report issues regarding street lights that are out of order or not functioning properly through their mobile phones. This eliminates the need for residents to visit authority offices for complaints. The ‘Noida Smart LED Light’ app is available for download on both the Apple App Store and the Android Google Play Store.

With this new app, the complaint registration process becomes significantly easier and more convenient for residents. For those who may not have access to the app, complaints can also be registered via the toll-free number 18001029574.

The authority emphasizes that the digital recording of complaints will allow for better organization and tracking. This system will make it easier to identify the area from which a complaint originates, when it was acknowledged, and its current resolution status.

A notable feature of the new system is that after registering a complaint, citizens will be able to receive updates on its status. This will enhance transparency in the complaint resolution process and help ensure accountability among the relevant officials and staff.

The Noida Authority states that with digital monitoring of street light maintenance, the complaint resolution process will become more systematic, transparent, and effective. This initiative is expected to be beneficial in addressing street light issues in both the city and surrounding villages.
