Nitish Kumar: The Leader Transforming Bihars Identity

Patna, April 14: Bihar’s political landscape is currently buzzing with discussions surrounding Nitish Kumar’s resignation. In an interview, JDU MP Sanjay Jha emphasized that Nitish Kumar is not just a leader but a symbol of pride for Bihar’s 140 million residents. He noted that there was a time when the term ‘Bihari’ was associated with inferiority, but under Kumar’s leadership, Bihar has reshaped its image and carved out a distinct identity on both national and global stages.

Jha highlighted that Kumar has dedicated nearly 20 years to serving Bihar, prioritizing public welfare over personal comfort. He remarked on Kumar’s unique approach to governance, stating that while many in politics view power as a means for personal gain, Kumar has demonstrated how it can be wielded for the greater good. His contributions span various sectors, including development, law and order, and social reform, showcasing his commitment to the state.

Reflecting on the past, Jha recalled that the formation of the government in 2005 under Kumar marked a significant turning point for Bihar. He mentioned that Kumar has remained actively engaged in grassroots politics, often campaigning in adverse weather and traveling hundreds of kilometers daily to connect with the populace.

Looking ahead, Jha asserted that Kumar’s guidance will continue to be pivotal in Bihar’s political arena. His experience and insights will remain invaluable to both the government and the party, ensuring that JDU and the administration will persist in implementing Kumar’s vision.

Additionally, BJP leader Vinod Narayan Jha praised Kumar’s historical role in steering Bihar towards development. He stated that Kumar’s name will be inscribed in golden letters in Bihar’s history. He acknowledged Kumar’s nearly two-decade-long service to the state, emphasizing that his influence transcends any single position. Regardless of future roles, Kumar’s connection to Bihar and his impact will endure, with his developmental policies continuing to shape the state’s progress.
