Nitesh Rane Advocates for Vande Mataram in Madrasas to Combat Terrorism

Mumbai, May 23: Maharashtra Minister Nitesh Rane has launched a strong attack on the opposition and illegal immigrants. He defended the ongoing anti-encroachment campaign in Mumbai and the proposal to make ‘Vande Mataram’ mandatory in madrasas.

Speaking to the media about the anti-encroachment drive, Rane emphasized that illegal constructions on government land will not be tolerated. “If you build illegal homes or mosques on government land, we will uproot them. This land belongs to the government, not anyone’s private property,” he stated.

Rane reiterated a promise made during elections, asserting that the illegal presence of Bangladeshis and Rohingyas in the state will not be accepted. Citing Bandra as an example, he said, “We are fulfilling our promise. Not just Bandra, but many other areas also need a complete cleanup. All illegal Bangladeshis and Rohingyas should pack their bags and leave.”

In response to comments made by opposition leader Rahul Gandhi regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Rane expressed strong disapproval. He remarked, “Anyone who uses such indecent language against our Prime Minister can only be an agent of Pakistan.”

Rane further stated that it is up to the citizens of the country to decide whether those who speak against the Prime Minister should be allowed to stay.

Supporting the West Bengal government’s decision to make ‘Vande Mataram’ mandatory in madrasas, Rane called for its implementation nationwide. He asserted, “If ‘Vande Mataram’ and ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ are sung in madrasas, terrorism will be eradicated from there. This rule should be applied everywhere.”

Minister Nitesh Rane added, “Look, Maharashtra is set for significant development through our ports in the coming times. We have our own policies for shipbuilding, shipbreaking, and ship repair. Our Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis dreams of elevating the economy to a trillion, and we aim to contribute significantly through the port sector.”
