Nishant Kumar Visits Baba Harihar Nath Temple for Blessings in Sonpur

Patna, April 8: Nishant Kumar, the son of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and a leader of the Janata Dal (United), visited the renowned Baba Harihar Nath Temple in Sonpur on Tuesday. He performed rituals and sought blessings for peace and prosperity in the state.

After the prayers, he spoke to the media, stating, “I have come to seek the blessings of God. I used to visit here frequently about 20 years ago.”

When asked about his requests to Baba, he replied, “It’s all by Baba’s grace.” Responding to a question about ministers who visit the temple often becoming successful, he candidly said, “Everything is fine. It’s all God’s grace.”

During his visit, Nishant Kumar appeared emotional while discussing the development work carried out by his father, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. He expressed, “What my father has done for Bihar, the people will never forget. He has accomplished a lot for the state over the past 20 years. I urge the public to continue their trust and affection towards the party and me, just as they have shown towards my father.”

Upon his arrival at the temple, JD(U) workers welcomed him with flowers and garlands, and a large number of devotees and supporters were present.

There are speculations about Chief Minister Nitish Kumar resigning from his position following his election to the Rajya Sabha. Meanwhile, there are predictions that Nishant may become the Deputy Chief Minister in the new government, although JD(U) workers are advocating for him to be appointed as Chief Minister.

Since entering politics, Nishant has been actively engaging with the public.
