NIA Investigates Gangster Prince Khans Alleged Pakistan Connections

Ranchi, August 28: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is now investigating the alleged connections of notorious fugitive gangster Prince Khan from Wasseypur, Jharkhand, to Pakistan and a potential terrorist network. An NIA team has arrived in Dhanbad to gather evidence related to Prince Khan’s criminal and purported terrorist affiliations.

The agency is particularly focused on his foreign contacts, the network operating in Pakistan, and the alleged international flow of extortion money. Central to the investigation is whether Prince Khan’s network is limited to organized crime and extortion or if it is linked to the banned terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed and other suspicious networks based in Pakistan.

During police interrogations in Dhanbad, close associate Saif Abbas Naqvi, also known as Saifi or Major, provided several details regarding Khan’s presence in Pakistan and his alleged terrorist connections. Information revealed during police questioning suggests that extorted money from businessmen in Jharkhand was reportedly sent to Pakistan through hawala channels and Dubai.

According to a report, funds were allegedly transferred to Pakistan via the Al Ansari Exchange in Dubai. Investigators have also obtained information related to the use of various bank accounts and digital receipts associated with these transactions. The NIA may further explore these financial links.

The investigation will specifically seek to determine whether the extorted funds were used solely for criminal activities or if any portion reached alleged terrorist activities or organizations. Additionally, it will examine how Prince Khan managed to reach Pakistan and who allegedly assisted him there. Reports indicate that he came into contact with the ISI and Jaish-e-Mohammed through Pakistani national Tauqeer Baloch.

The NIA is expected to independently verify the information by examining available evidence and digital records. Prince Khan has long posed a challenge for the Jharkhand police, with multiple allegations against his gang for extortion, threats, and violent criminal activities.

The NIA’s investigation aims to clarify the extent of Prince Khan’s network’s connections to international criminal and terrorist networks. Should sufficient legal evidence related to terrorist activities emerge from the investigation, it could pave the way for further action against him under terrorism-related provisions.
