New Delhi, August 2: A new and modern curriculum related to future warfare will be introduced for the Indian Armed Forces. This initiative aims to strengthen the military’s preparedness for upcoming challenges. The course will commence on August 3 and marks the fourth tri-service future warfare curriculum, taking place at the Manekshaw Centre in New Delhi.
This four-week program is organized under the auspices of the Integrated Defence Staff headquarters, with coordination by the Joint Warfare Studies Centre. According to the Ministry of Defence, the course will include participants from the Army, Navy, and Air Force, as well as representatives from various government organizations, educational institutions, industry, and strategic think tanks. The goal is to understand the evolving nature of future warfare and develop a shared perspective among experts from different fields.
During the course, participants will receive in-depth information on several critical topics related to modern warfare. These include the changing global geopolitical landscape, artificial intelligence, quantum technology, cyber and cognitive warfare, and information warfare.
