NDA MPs Meet with PM Modi for Breakfast Ahead of Parliament Session

New Delhi, August 7: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will host a breakfast meeting with NDA MPs at his residence this Friday morning. The MPs traveled by bus from the residence of BJP National General Secretary Vinod Tawde to the Prime Minister’s residence. Notable attendees included MPs Sudip Bandopadhyay and Kakoli Ghosh.

Central Minister Ramdas Athawale commented that the meeting may address the functioning of Parliament. He noted that the opposition has been obstructing proceedings, which is likely to be a topic of discussion. Athawale also mentioned that he would raise several significant issues related to Maharashtra during the meeting.

MP Sudip Bandopadhyay expressed, “I have never participated in such a meeting before. This is the first time we are part of the NDA. Therefore, all our MPs are attending. It will be a new experience for us.”

Meanwhile, MP Kakoli Ghosh expressed gratitude for the invitation to the meeting as they headed to the Prime Minister’s residence.

Sources indicate that this meeting, convened before the upcoming session of Parliament, will serve as an opportunity for introductions and discussions among NDA MPs. Topics are expected to include parliamentary procedures, MPs’ responsibilities, and the government’s strategy for the upcoming session.

Additionally, discussions may focus on how to ensure smooth operations in Parliament and effectively raise issues related to their constituencies. This meeting is viewed as a crucial opportunity for guidance and dialogue for the new MPs.
