Naveen Kasturia Opens Up About His Role as a Father in Adarsh Bal Vidyalaya

Mumbai, July 20: Actor Naveen Kasturia is gearing up for the release of his upcoming web series, ‘Adarsh Bal Vidyalaya.’ In this series, he portrays a school counselor who struggles to understand and manage his relationship with his young daughter in his personal life.

Kasturia expressed that he felt most anxious about playing the role of a father. He stated, “If you ask me what was the most challenging aspect of this show, I would say it was playing the role of a father rather than the counselor. I am not a father in real life, so entering that emotional realm was a completely new experience for me. The relationship between a father and daughter is filled with love and affection, but there are also moments of hesitation. Understanding these emotions was both a challenge and an opportunity for me as an artist.”

He also mentioned that acting alongside children was not an easy task. “I was a bit nervous about acting with kids because they perform very naturally and honestly. The little girl playing my daughter is an incredible talent. Working with her required me to bring my A-game in every scene,” he added.

Kasturia further explained that his character, Mukul, deeply loves his daughter and wishes to be her friend. However, they struggle to communicate their feelings openly. “Mukul loves his daughter and wants to be her friend, but they can’t express themselves as they wish. I believe many families will resonate with this situation. The biggest challenge was portraying the unspoken emotions between them. Those silent moments carry profound feelings, and capturing them was one of my most memorable acting experiences,” he shared.

‘Adarsh Bal Vidyalaya’ is a comedy-drama series featuring notable actors like KK Menon, Archana Puran Singh, Abhimanyu Singh, Prasanna Bisht, Ajitesh Gupta, Annapurna Soni, and Prachi Shah in significant roles. Directed by Himank Gaur, the seven-episode series is produced under the banner of Posham Pa Pictures by Biswajit Sarkar and Sameer Saxena.

The series will be available for streaming in Hindi and English on Prime Video starting July 24.
