Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi Critiques Rahul Gandhis Political Aspirations

BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi criticizes Rahul Gandhis approach, claiming it leads to political obscurity.

New Delhi, October 28 (Daily Kiran) : Senior BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi targeted Congress and Rahul Gandhi during a recent event in New Delhi. Speaking at the party’s “Save Democracy, Remove Anarchy” campaign, he accused Congress and its affiliates of resorting to confrontation instead of constructive dialogue, aiming to paralyze democratic institutions.

In an interview, Naqvi stated that Congress lacks solid arguments to support its stance. This deficiency, he argued, drives the party to engage in malicious and biased propaganda against democratic institutions and systems.

He specifically criticized Rahul Gandhi, suggesting that his obsession with power transition is leading him toward political obscurity. Naqvi noted that such an obsession often results in leaders making baseless claims and hollow boasts. According to him, Gandhi believes that undermining Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s popularity is essential, but failing to achieve this has led Congress to attack democracy and constitutional institutions.

Regarding the upcoming rally of the INDIA bloc scheduled for November 1 at Ramlila Maidan, Naqvi emphasized that the festive atmosphere in the country should not be marred by political self-interest.

He also praised the BJP’s performance in the recent MLC elections in Uttar Pradesh, asserting that while the party performed well, one election should not be seen as a definitive indicator of the political landscape, given that each election has unique issues.

Naqvi acknowledged that the Samajwadi Party retained some seats and deserved congratulations for their efforts. He advised SP leader Akhilesh Yadav not to view the recent elections as a litmus test but to focus on preparations for future elections.
