Akhilesh Yadav Urges SP Workers to Celebrate Election Victory Calmly

After the SPs victory in the MLC elections, Akhilesh Yadav calls for peaceful celebrations and warns against potential BJP provocations.

Lucknow, October 28 (Daily Kiran) : Akhilesh Yadav, the national president of the Samajwadi Party (SP), congratulated party candidates on their victories in the Legislative Council’s teacher and graduate segments. He urged party workers to maintain peace and celebrate their success through social media rather than in public gatherings. Yadav expressed concerns that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) might attempt to disrupt the atmosphere and tarnish the SP’s image.

In his statement, Yadav criticized the BJP for alleged election irregularities and asserted that teachers would fulfill their “Guru Sankalp” by defeating the BJP in the upcoming 2027 assembly elections. He emphasized that the announcement of their victory should be communicated peacefully, avoiding any rallies or processions to prevent BJP supporters from causing unrest and accusing the SP of misconduct.

Yadav warned party members to steer clear of conspiracies and false accusations, especially with the assembly elections approaching. He plans to personally congratulate all newly elected members of the Legislative Council and intends to honor those who supported them during the campaign.

The SP leader accused the BJP of resorting to violence, dishonesty, and fraud during the election process. He alleged that corrupt BJP leaders and their associates employed various tactics to secure victory, specifically mentioning a conspiracy to defeat SP candidate Dr. Sanjay Tripathi from the Gorakhpur-Faizabad teacher constituency.

Yadav claimed that the alleged manipulation in vote counting was not solely due to Dr. Tripathi’s affiliation with the SP but also a reflection of broader issues. He suggested that the public now understands that the BJP has lost in every constituency, asserting that the party wins not through votes but through deceit.

He highlighted the mistreatment faced by Dr. Tripathi, stating that the entire community is aware of the injustices. Yadav reiterated that the SP stands against the injustices and oppression inflicted by the BJP on Dr. Tripathi and others in the teaching community.

Moreover, he raised the issue of alleged mistreatment of Dr. Akash Agarwal, the newly elected MLC from the Agra teacher constituency, claiming that BJP leaders’ actions brought him to tears and resulted in physical humiliation.

According to Yadav, the Agarhari community feels victimized and insulted by these incidents. He noted the SP’s slogan, “Those who are oppressed, are with us,” and expanded on this by including the Agarwal community in their movement. He asserted that the inclusion of the Agarwal community has strengthened the party’s base and morale, framing the political contest as a battle between five percent BJP supporters and ninety-five percent of the united opposition.
