Bengaluru, June 8: The Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) has officially launched its political expansion in Karnataka. The party held a grand ceremony aimed at energizing its organizational structure and social justice movement. During the event, national president and former Bihar minister Mukesh Sahni stated that if he had made a deal with Delhi, he would have been the Chief Minister of Bihar today.
Addressing the gathering, Sahni expressed, “This is a moment of great joy for us, especially for the people of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Jharkhand. We are fighting for the rights of the Nishad community, particularly those involved in fishing. There are approximately 312 communities connected to the fishing sector across the country, and we are continuously working to protect their interests. Our movement has now reached Karnataka, marking a significant achievement for us.”
Sahni emphasized the party’s political stance, stating, “There is no question of standing on both sides. We are with the India Alliance and will continue to engage in politics alongside them in the future. The coming times will reveal our strength.”
He urged the newly appointed officials and workers of the Karnataka unit to work diligently. They must reach every village and widely disseminate the party’s ideas and core principles. He stressed that mere organizational expansion is not enough; it is essential to strengthen the ideology at the grassroots level.
VIP Vice President Mohan Kumar BK remarked, “This is a result of our leader Mukesh Sahni’s visionary ideology. The Koli community has a population of approximately 220 million across the country, stretching from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. Our party is active nationwide, focusing on the welfare and upliftment of marginalized and backward classes.”
He further noted that the Vikassheel Insaan Party is rapidly expanding across several states and is progressing towards becoming a national party. In Bihar, the party already holds a strong position with four legislators. In Uttar Pradesh, it is contesting elections in alliance with the Samajwadi Party and Congress. During the event, party leaders emphasized social justice, the rights of backward classes and Dalits, the issues faced by fishermen, and the upliftment of marginalized communities.
