Matt Nagy to Interview with Titans, Raiders, and Cardinals This Week

Matt Nagy, the Kansas City Chiefs’ offensive coordinator, is scheduled to have a series of important interviews this week with three NFL teams.

According to NFL Media’s Mike Garafolo, Nagy will meet with the Las Vegas Raiders and Tennessee Titans on Thursday, followed by an interview with the Arizona Cardinals on Friday.

Nagy, 47, served as the head coach of the Chicago Bears from 2018 to 2021, compiling a 34-31 record. During his tenure, he led the Bears to one division title and two postseason appearances. He was also honoured as the Associated Press Coach of the Year in 2018.

With extensive experience working under renowned coach Andy Reid, Nagy began his career as a coaching intern with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2008. He joined the Chiefs in 2013 as quarterbacks coach and served as offensive coordinator in 2016 and 2017 before taking the Bears head coaching role.

After returning to Kansas City in 2022 as a senior assistant and quarterbacks coach, Nagy was promoted to offensive coordinator in 2023. His connection with Tennessee Titans General Manager Mike Borgonzi, who previously worked alongside him in Kansas City, adds significance to the upcoming interview.
