Yogi Adityanath Blesses Kuldeep Yadav at His Wedding Reception

Lucknow, March 17: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath attended the wedding reception of Indian cricket star Kuldeep Yadav in Lucknow on Tuesday. He blessed the newlyweds during the celebration.

CM Adityanath shared photos from the reception on the social media platform X, stating, “Today (Tuesday), I participated in the post-wedding reception of Indian cricketer Kuldeep Yadav and offered my blessings to the newly married couple.”

Kuldeep Yadav tied the knot with his childhood friend Vanshika Singh on March 14 in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand. The reception saw the presence of head coach Gautam Gambhir and fellow players Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shikhar Dhawan, and Ravindra Jadeja. Over 900 guests were invited to this grand event, with strict security measures in place for VIP attendees at the hotel.

The couple got engaged on June 4, 2025, in Lucknow, with close family and friends in attendance. Their wedding was initially scheduled for November 2025 but was postponed due to the T20 World Cup. Vanshika, a childhood friend of Kuldeep, completed her schooling in Kanpur before moving to Melbourne, Australia, for higher education.

Recently, Kuldeep Yadav emerged as a T20 World Cup winner, having played in a match against Pakistan where he took one wicket for just 14 runs in three overs.

Since making his debut for India in 2017, Kuldeep has played 17 Test matches, taking 76 wickets at an average of 22.42. In One Day Internationals, he has claimed 194 wickets in 120 matches and has taken 95 wickets in 54 T20 matches for India.
