Manager of Yamaha Showroom Murdered in Darbhanga; Suspect Arrested

Darbhanga, June 14: In a shocking incident in Darbhanga, Bihar, the manager of a Yamaha motorcycle showroom was brutally murdered with an iron rod. The police arrested a suspect on Saturday in connection with the case.

According to police officials, Faiz Ahmed, the manager of the Yamaha motorcycle agency near Chandanpatti Chowk, was attacked by two unidentified assailants on Friday. The daylight attack left the local community in shock.

Upon receiving reports of the incident, police quickly arrived at the scene and began their investigation. A forensic team was deployed to collect evidence related to the case.

The police stated that, under the direction of the Senior Superintendent of Police in Darbhanga, a special investigation team was formed, led by the sub-divisional police officer. During the investigation, the suspects were identified as Sonu Kumar Paswan based on CCTV footage, technical research, and human intelligence. The police swiftly conducted a raid and apprehended Sonu.

The arrested suspect has confessed to his crime. Authorities recovered the victim’s mobile phone and scooter, which were used by the assailant to flee the scene. A police official mentioned that efforts are underway to apprehend another suspect involved in the murder.

CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced, showing the attacker striking the manager’s neck with a sharp object and a scissor. Following the assault, the assailant fled with Faiz’s scooter. The main opposition party, the Rashtriya Janata Dal, has criticized the government in light of this incident.
