Major Flipkart Parcel Scam Busted in Bihar, Five Arrested

Sasaram, June 15: The police in Rohtas district, Bihar, have uncovered an organized gang involved in swindling expensive electronic goods from Flipkart. Five suspects have been arrested in connection with this scam.

Authorities seized a significant amount of electronic items, including a car, camera, laptops, and mobile phones. According to police reports, on the evening of June 13, around 8:30 PM, a Flipkart team from Dehri and Sasaram brought three suspicious individuals to the Nagar police station along with some parcel items. Two of these individuals were working as Flipkart delivery boys, while the third was responsible for creating duplicate products.

A police officer revealed that during interrogation, the trio disclosed that the gang was run by Satyakam alias Kishhu and Amar Raja, both residents of Samastipur. They had lured the suspects into this illegal operation with a promise of ₹40,000 per month. The gang would replace genuine expensive electronic items with fake or lower-value products during delivery.

Given the seriousness of the case, the police formed a special raid team. With the assistance of the technical branch and local police, they identified a suspicious vehicle. Acting on this information, they intercepted the vehicle in the Amas police area of Gaya district, detaining Amar Raja and Satyakam Chaudhary, who were then brought to Dehri police station.

During the vehicle search, police recovered a Sony camera, two laptops, several mobile phones, three Apple headphones, 15 body cameras, six smartwatches, three GoPro cameras, five earbuds, 14 mobile chargers and data cables, a plastic sealing machine, and other items. Additionally, two hard air guns were also confiscated. The arrested individuals have been identified as Satyakam alias Kishhu, Amar Raja, Chandan Kumar, Pradeep Kumar Prince, and Harshal Kumar, all residents of various police areas in Samastipur. The police are currently investigating other members of the gang and potential related cases.
