Major Administrative Reshuffle in Rajasthan: 67 RAS Officers Transferred, 24 Appointed as SDMs

Jaipur, October 26 (Daily Kiran) — The Rajasthan government carried out a major administrative reshuffle late Saturday night, transferring and posting 67 Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) officers across the state. The new order includes the appointment of 24 officers as Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs). Some of the officers transferred had also received promotions just two days earlier.

According to the official order, Gajendra Singh Rathore has been appointed as Secretary, Board of Secondary Education, Ajmer, replacing Keshav Chandra Meena, whose transfer has also been approved. Bhagchand Badhal has been posted as Additional Commissioner, Jaipur Development Authority (JDA), while Dinesh Kumar Sharma will now serve as Secretary, Rajasthan Staff Selection Board. Similarly, Dr. Gunjan Soni has been appointed Registrar, Rajasthan Sanskrit University, Jaipur.

Among other key appointments, Sanjay Kumar Mathur has been posted as Additional District Collector (ADC-III), Jaipur, and Narendra Kumar Verma as Additional District Collector, Jaipur (East). Brijmohan Nogia, earlier serving in the Department of Art and Culture, has been transferred as Secretary, Rajasthan State Minority Commission.

Mukut Bihari Jangid has been made Joint Secretary, Department of Personnel (DoP), Jaipur; Bhagirath Vishnoi becomes Additional Director (Administration), HCM RIPA Jodhpur; Kailash Chandra Sharma is the new CEO, Zila Parishad Dausa; Nishu Kumar Agnihotri joins as Additional Commissioner (TAD-MADA), Jaipur; and Arvind Kumar Jhajhar has been appointed CEO, Zila Parishad Nagaur.

Other notable postings include:

• Ramswaroop Chauhan – Deputy Commissioner, Colonization Department, Jaisalmer

• Aakashdeep Arora – Deputy Commissioner, SSA & Rajasthan School Education Council, Jaipur

• Dr. Narendra Chaudhary – Additional Director, Literacy and Continuing Education

• Anuradha Gogiya – Deputy Secretary, Department of Art, Culture & Literature, Jaipur

• Rakesh Kumar (I) – Commissioner (Administration), Commercial Taxes Department, Jaipur

Prabha Vyas has been posted as Additional Director, HCM RIPA Jaipur, Dr. Rashtradeep Yadav as Deputy Secretary, Urban Development and Housing Department, and Jitendra Kumar Pandey as CEO, Nathdwara Municipal Council. Birdi Chand has been appointed Additional District Collector and ADM, Dausa, and Ramavatar Kumawat as Deputy Registrar General, Registration & Stamps, Banswara Division.

The order also names 24 officers appointed as Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs), including:

Additional transfers include Chandra Prakash Verma as Assistant Director, Public Services, Pratapgarh; Sohan Singh Naruka as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Alwar; Niharika Sharma as Special Officer (Land Acquisition), RIICO Jaipur; and Amita Mann as Officer, State Anti-Corruption Bureau, Jaipur.

The reshuffle is being seen as part of the government’s effort to strengthen administrative efficiency and governance across the state ahead of key developmental and policy implementations.
