New Delhi, March 10: Mahindra & Mahindra continues to shine in the SUV market, with the Scorpio reclaiming its position as the top-selling model in February 2026. The company recorded impressive sales figures, with a total of 60,018 passenger vehicles sold, marking a 19% increase compared to 50,420 units sold in February 2025. However, there was a slight month-on-month decline of 5.5% from January 2026, when 63,510 vehicles were sold. The growth can be attributed to the popularity of Mahindra’s SUV lineup, which includes several well-received models.
In February 2026, the Mahindra Scorpio, which includes both the Scorpio Classic and Scorpio-N models, was the best-selling SUV with 14,665 units sold. This reflects a 7.69% year-on-year growth from 13,618 units sold in February 2025.
The sales figures for February 2026 are as follows:
1. Scorpio / N: 14,665 units (24.43% market share)
2. Thar / Roxx: 11,047 units (18.41% market share)
3. Bolero: 9,863 units (16.43% market share)
4. XUV 7XO: 9,112 units (15.18% market share)
5. XUV 3XO / EV: 8,637 units (14.39% market share)
6. XEV 9S: 3,539 units
7. XEV 9e: 1,889 units
8. BE 6: 1,104 units
9. XUV 400: 162 units
10. Marazzo: 0 units
The Mahindra Thar also maintained strong sales, with 11,047 units sold in February 2026, representing a 19.45% increase from 9,248 units sold in February 2025. However, this was a decline of 17.67% compared to January 2026’s sales of 13,418 units.
The Mahindra Bolero performed well, achieving sales of 9,863 units in February 2026, up 13.50% from 8,690 units in February 2025. This model remains particularly popular in rural and semi-urban markets.
The newly launched Mahindra XUV 7XO saw a remarkable increase in demand, with 9,112 units sold in February 2026, up 22.01% from 7,468 units sold in February 2025.
The compact Mahindra XUV 3XO, including its electric variant, also contributed positively with sales of 8,637 units, a 9.87% increase year-on-year. Meanwhile, the Mahindra XEV 9S sold 3,539 units, and the BE 6 recorded 1,104 units sold, marking an 11.40% increase.
However, some models experienced a decline in sales. The Mahindra XEV 9e saw a drop of 14.33% with 1,889 units sold, and the XUV 400’s sales plummeted by nearly 50% to just 162 units.
Notably, the Mahindra Marazzo recorded no sales in February 2026, a stark contrast to the 17 units sold in the same month last year.
The February 2026 sales data clearly indicates that Mahindra’s growth is primarily driven by its SUV range, particularly the Scorpio, Thar, Bolero, and XUV 7XO. Additionally, the company’s new electric SUV lineup is gradually establishing its presence in the market.
