Maharashtra MLA Sudhir Gadgil Injured in Car Accident

Mumbai, June 27: Maharashtra’s BJP MLA Sudhir Gadgil was involved in a car accident on Saturday while traveling from Maheshal to Sangli. He sustained a minor injury to his finger, but the timely deployment of the car’s airbags prevented a more serious incident.

Reports indicate that the accident occurred when a two-wheeler suddenly came in front of Gadgil’s vehicle on the Arjunwad service road, leading to a significant collision. The rider of the two-wheeler was injured and has been admitted to a hospital for treatment.

Gadgil was transported to a hospital in another vehicle, where he received initial medical care under the supervision of doctors.

Upon receiving news of the accident, local police arrived at the scene and initiated an investigation. They have registered a case regarding the incident and are working to uncover the circumstances that led to the crash.

Meanwhile, a program was held in Sangli to celebrate Prime Minister Modi’s 12 years of successful governance. In a post, MLA Gadgil highlighted that under the special public outreach campaign named “Trust, Development, and Public Welfare,” the BJP’s Sangli district unit organized a natural farming workshop at Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj College of Agricultural Business Management.

The central government, led by Prime Minister Modi, is continuously promoting sustainable, organic, and natural farming through various initiatives. During the workshop, Praveen Mali, a recipient of the Vasantrao Naik Award, elaborated on the importance of natural farming, the use of modern technology, cost-saving in production, soil conservation, and increasing farmers’ income.

Referring to PM Modi’s “Mann Ki Baat,” Gadgil urged all BJP officials, power center heads, booth leaders, and party workers to organize “Mann Ki Baat” programs in their respective wards to strengthen the Prime Minister’s vision of a developed India. After the events, he requested attendees to upload their presence and photos on the “Saaral” app and share them on their social media and digital platforms.
