Mumbai, March 30: Actress Lisa Ray frequently shares her thoughts on health and aging through social media. On Monday, she openly discussed mental health during midlife.
In a video posted on Instagram, Lisa revealed that it was filmed at the beginning of 2026. She has now joined a platform focused on women’s health in midlife. Lisa stated, “Many women follow me. Midlife doesn’t tell you to slow down. It tells you to push forward.”
She emphasized that the question is not whether to take Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), but rather, “How do I step into this new chapter healthy, energetic, and at my best? Your glow-up doesn’t come from one medication. It comes from self-control and responsibility.”
Lisa explained that while HRT can be helpful and sometimes life-changing, midlife is not limited to a single pill. She noted, “This is the time when you become the CEO of your body. No interns, no confusion, and no chaos.”
The actress also offered practical advice to women. She wrote, “Weight training is now essential; prioritize protein and sleep. Care for your nervous system daily, not just occasionally.”
She stressed that women should not only take care of their health but also lead it. “Don’t apologize for rest, joy, and strength. Don’t shrink yourself; instead, shape yourself correctly.”
Lisa concluded, “Midlife is not the beginning of decline. It’s time to upgrade your operating system. New year, new energy, and this time, you’re not leaving your strength to someone else.”
At the end of her post, Lisa declared, “The era of self-leadership has begun, and it looks great on you.”
