1. Get Deep Sleep: Quality sleep is fundamental to immunity. Aim for at least 7 to 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep each night. Lack of sleep weakens the body’s defense mechanisms. Avoid mobile phones and television before bed, and keep dinner light.
2. Eat Nutritious Foods: A balanced and nutritious diet plays a vital role in boosting immunity. Consume fresh fruits, vegetables, leafy greens, lentils, grains, and nuts daily. In Ayurveda, home remedies like turmeric milk, ginger, basil, amla, and giloy are considered immunity boosters. Avoid junk food and excessive fried items.
