
New Delhi, May 9: On the birth anniversary of the valiant Maharana Pratap, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and several prominent leaders paid their respects. They emphasized that Maharana Pratap’s life continues to inspire citizens to protect their motherland and culture.
Union Minister Amit Shah shared a post on the social media platform ‘X’, stating, “On the birth anniversary of Maharana Pratap, an eternal symbol of indomitable courage, self-respect, and patriotism, I bow to him. Maharana Pratap, the highest source of inspiration for freedom, dignity, and sacrifice in Indian history, dedicated every moment of his life to safeguarding the motherland, religion, and culture, upholding their honor. Despite facing adversity, deprivation, and struggles, he never compromised on his principles.”
He further added, “Maharana Pratap’s unparalleled bravery and dedication to the motherland continue to ignite the spirit of nationalism in every Indian’s heart.”
Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari remarked, “The great warrior Maharana Pratap was a symbol of indomitable courage, extraordinary valor, and determination. On this day of his birth anniversary, I pay my deepest respects.”
Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan expressed, “He is the pride of immortality, the victory trumpet of humanity. The path of ideals illuminated by him. On the birth anniversary of the great warrior and national hero Maharana Pratap, I bow before him. Your valor and bravery will continue to honor the motherland for generations to come.”
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, while paying homage to Maharana Pratap, stated, “His sacrifice and struggle for the protection of the motherland serve as a beacon of inspiration for every Indian. His selfless dedication to the nation will empower us to remain steadfast in our moral values and principles.”
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma also paid tribute to the ‘Lion of Mewar’, Maharana Pratap. In a post on ‘X’, he wrote, “You accepted eating grass bread to protect the motherland, but never bowed your head to foreign subjugation. Your sacrifice and self-respect will continue to inspire national pride for generations.”
Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary noted on ‘X’, “On the birth anniversary of the immortal symbol of indomitable courage, self-respect, and patriotism, Maharana Pratap, I bow to him. His struggle, sacrifice, and unwavering resolve to protect the motherland will always inspire future generations. His life conveys a message of dedication to honor, courage, and the nation’s welfare.”
