New Delhi, August 11: Devotees are performing water offerings to Lord Shiva during the auspicious month of Sawan. Tuesday marks the Shivratri of this holy month, attracting a large number of worshippers to Shiva temples. On this occasion, several leaders have conveyed their greetings and best wishes to the public.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah shared a post on ‘X’, stating, “Heartfelt wishes to everyone on the sacred Shivratri of the holy month of Sawan. I pray to Lord Shiva for everyone’s good health, prosperity, and peace. Har Har Mahadev!”
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla wrote, “On the auspicious Shivratri of the Sawan month, I extend my heartfelt wishes to all citizens. Worshipping Lord Shiva inspires us to walk the path of restraint, truth, and welfare. I pray that the God of Gods blesses everyone’s life and strengthens the spirit of happiness, peace, and progress in our nation and society.”
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath posted on social media, “Wishing all Shiva devotees and residents of the state a heartfelt congratulations and best wishes on this holy Shivratri dedicated to Lord Mahadev. I pray that by the immense grace of Lord Bholenath, every citizen’s life is illuminated with happiness, peace, prosperity, health, and fame, and that all their wishes are fulfilled. Har Har Mahadev!”
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta expressed, “Shravan Shivratri is a sacred festival of worship, devotion, and spiritual purification of Lord Shiva. The divine nature of the Sawan month and the worship of Shivratri present a special opportunity for faith, devotion, and welfare. Wishing everyone heartfelt greetings on Shravan Shivratri. May Lord Mahadev’s grace remain ever-present and bring happiness, prosperity, and auspiciousness to all. Har Har Mahadev.”
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini wrote, “Om Namah Shivaya! Heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all residents of the state on the auspicious occasion of Sawan Shivratri. I pray to Lord Mahadev that His immense grace always remains with all residents and that every family’s life is filled with happiness, peace, prosperity, and well-being.”
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav stated, “I pray that by the grace of Lord Mahadev, who resides in the Shri Ridvanath Temple in village Handia, district Harda, everyone’s life is filled with happiness, peace, prosperity, and joy. Har Har Mahadev!”
