
New Delhi, September 15 (Daily Kiran) : Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju stated on Tuesday that “public service for nation building” has been a guiding principle in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s life. He praised Modi’s remarkable 25-year journey dedicated to public service and nation-building, highlighting how his visionary leadership has provided the country with new direction and strength.
Rijiju noted that thanks to Modi’s collective resolve, India is rapidly advancing towards its goal of becoming a developed nation by 2047. He encouraged citizens to light a “lamp of blessings” at their homes from 6 to 7 PM on September 17, the Prime Minister’s birthday, to pray for his long life and good health.
Additionally, senior BJP leader V.D. Sharma shared details about various events planned to celebrate Modi’s 25 years of public service. He announced that from September 17 to October 17, several service initiatives will take place.
In Gandhinagar, Sharma explained that a “Service Sankalp Yatra” will be organized from Vadnagar to Varanasi. This initiative, led by the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, will commence with a commitment to service. Over 200 motorcyclists will participate in this journey, which will be divided into groups of 25. The inaugural event will feature prominent attendees, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, and various central ministers, along with Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.
The “Service Sankalp Yatra” will cover 193 districts across 10 states, passing through 773 tehsils and 1,159 villages. This youth-led motorcycle rally aims to traverse approximately 40,000 kilometers.
