Amaravati, September 15 (Daily Kiran) : Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has issued a clear directive to ensure that private coaching centers do not become hubs for political activities or plots motivated by politics. This decision comes in response to recent incidents where certain individuals were allegedly pressuring coaching centers to tarnish the government’s image.
During a review meeting with officials, Naidu emphasized the need for strict action against any coaching centers found violating established regulations. Reports indicated that some coaching center managements were reportedly coercing candidates preparing for competitive exams to participate in protests and movements.
Naidu noted that candidates, who should be concentrating on their exam preparation, were being exploited for political demonstrations. Officials informed the Chief Minister that some coaching center owners were allegedly inciting candidates to join these protests with ill intentions.
Taking the matter seriously, Naidu instructed officials to initiate action against institutions that breach the rules. The government has made it clear that it will not tolerate any attempts by coaching center managements to involve candidates in politically motivated activities or use them as part of political schemes.
The Chief Minister directed that if coaching centers, which aim to prepare candidates for various competitive exams, incite students to engage in political protests against regulations, they would face legal consequences.
The government reiterated that private coaching centers must adhere to the guidelines set forth under the Andhra Pradesh Coaching Institutions Regulation Rules, 2026, G.O. No. 9. Naidu instructed officials to take legal action against centers that fail to comply with these guidelines.
Additionally, the government urged candidates to remain focused on their future and competitive exams, advising them not to succumb to any form of pressure. Candidates facing difficulties were encouraged to bring their concerns to the attention of relevant authorities.
