Khusboo Patni Urges Unity Amid Iran-Israel Tensions: This is Not a Religious War

Mumbai, March 6: Amid escalating tensions between Iran, Israel, and the USA, a social media war has erupted across the country. Users are fiercely debating India’s stance on this conflict.

Social media is rife with both positive and negative perspectives regarding India’s position. In this context, Khusboo Patni, a former member of the Indian Army, has called on people to refrain from becoming emotionally involved in the war.

Patni urged individuals to stop discussing India’s position on social media, emphasizing that India is not directly involved in the Iran-Israel-USA conflict. She stated that there is no need for anyone to jump in emotionally. Through her social media post, she clarified that while many perceive the tension as a religious battle, it is, in fact, a struggle for power, security, and regional influence—issues that are often misunderstood.

She wrote, “Let those who want to fight, fight. As long as India is not directly involved in the Iran-Israel-USA conflict, we do not need to engage emotionally. This is not a religious war.” In reality, it is a matter of geopolitical strategy, military tactics, and global alliances, which are far more complex than what the average person can grasp. Social media is framing it as a religious issue, but decisions made by countries are based on oil, power balance, security, and regional dominance. Iran is not our nation. Fighting among our own citizens for the politics of another country is unwise.

It is noteworthy that following the death of Ali Hosseini Khamenei, the national mood was relatively calm. However, social media ignited discussions about India’s lack of opposition to the USA’s actions, despite Iran having supported India on several occasions. Nevertheless, India has signed a condolence register, clearly indicating that it advocates for peace, not war.
