Khan Sirs Bail Plea Faces Opposition in Court, Lawyer Claims Facts Were Concealed

Patna, June 18: A significant hearing is set to take place on June 20 regarding the case of Faisal Khan, known as Khan Sir, and his two personal guards in Bihar’s capital, Patna. The court will review Khan Sir’s anticipatory bail plea along with the regular bail applications of his guards. Reports indicate that one of the weapons seized by the police is registered in the name of a guard’s father.

Roshan Anand, director of Gyan Bindu GS Academy, will oppose the interim relief granted to Khan Sir in court. Anand’s lawyer, Niranjan Kumar Singh, stated that their team is well-prepared to present their case and is optimistic that the interim relief granted to Khan Sir may be revoked.

Singh mentioned that the hearing on June 20 will address Khan Sir’s anticipatory bail plea and the regular bail applications of his guards. He asserted that several crucial facts have emerged during the investigation, and the case has become public through social media, CCTV footage, and video recordings. Singh accused Khan Sir of concealing facts while obtaining interim relief from the court, misleading the judiciary in the process. He expressed confidence in the judiciary and hopes that the relief can be annulled based on the available evidence.

The lawyer for Roshan Anand alleged that the events in the case were orchestrated systematically, followed by an alleged attempt to influence the proceedings through the filing of another FIR. He emphasized that the facts and circumstances revealed during the investigation will be presented before the court. The provision for anticipatory bail is intended for those wrongfully implicated in a case and who have no criminal history. He urged the court to consider all facts and circumstances before making a decision on the bail applications.

Questioning the police’s role, Niranjan Kumar Singh alleged a double standard in handling the case. He pointed out that while swift action was taken against Roshan Anand, similar actions were not pursued regarding the complaints against Khan Sir. He noted that a reasonable person might wonder why, if an FIR is registered and allegations are made, investigative agencies should not conduct a fair inquiry into all parties involved. The lawyer claimed that the police have not demonstrated impartiality, a concern he plans to raise in court.
