Rahul Gandhi Demands Resignation of Education Minister Following PM Modis Announcement

New Delhi, July 23: Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, is steadfast in his demand for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. This comes after Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the establishment of fast-track courts to expedite the resolution of all paper leak cases on Thursday morning.

Following Modi’s announcement, Rahul Gandhi took to the social media platform ‘X’ to express his concerns. He stated, “You have caused the most harm to our youth’s future. You allowed our education system to be completely taken over and ruined. You promoted it and protected everyone responsible.”

Gandhi further emphasized, “The students’ demands are clear: remove Dharmendra Pradhan from his position, apologize to the students, and take action against those who have committed violence against them.”

Earlier, amid ongoing controversy surrounding the NEET paper leak, Prime Minister Modi declared that fast-track courts would be set up to ensure swift punishment for those guilty of such offenses. He also instructed the relevant departments to ensure necessary actions are taken.

In his post on ‘X’, Modi wrote, “The interests and future of the country’s youth are our top priority. Fast-track courts will be established to ensure that those guilty of paper leaks receive strict punishment as soon as possible. Instructions have been issued to ensure that the relevant departments take necessary actions.”

He added, “This is a significant step in the series of decisions being taken by the government to safeguard the interests of students. Anyone who plays with the future of our youth will not be spared.”
