New Delhi, July 23: The Panchang holds significant importance in Hinduism. It is consulted before undertaking any auspicious work, travel, investment, or rituals. The Panchang is based on the positions of the sun, moon, and other celestial bodies in the Hindu calendar system.
On July 24, 2026 (Friday), the Shukla Paksha Dashami Tithi will last until 9:13 AM. Following this, the Ekadashi Tithi will commence. Devshayani Ekadashi will begin at 9:13 AM and conclude on July 25, 2026, at 11:35 AM. Worshipping Lord Vishnu on this day is considered highly beneficial.
Sunrise will occur at 5:58 AM, and sunset will be at 7:08 PM. The Chandrodaya will take place at 3:11 PM, while the Chandraast will occur at 1:54 AM. According to the Panchang, on July 24, 2026, the sun will be in the Pushya Nakshatra, while the moon will remain in the Vishakha Nakshatra until 4:37 AM, after which it will transition to the Anuradha Nakshatra.
On this day, Harshan Yoga will not be effective. Shukla Yoga will remain until 8:10 PM, after which Brahma Yoga will begin. The Abhijit Muhurat, considered the most auspicious time of the day, will be from 12:07 PM to 12:59 PM. During this period, significant tasks, rituals, or business activities can be initiated without concern for Rahukal or other inauspicious times.
Rahukal will be from 10:45 AM to 12:27 PM, and Gulika Kal will be from 7:20 AM to 9:02 AM. Additionally, Yamgand Kal will last from 3:30 PM to 5:06 PM. According to traditional beliefs, it is advisable to avoid starting new ventures during these times, as they are considered inauspicious.
On Friday, the sun will be positioned in Cancer, while the moon will be in Scorpio. The direction of the west will have a directional fault (Disha Shool). Astrology and Vastu suggest avoiding travel in this direction. If travel is necessary, specific astrological remedies should be followed before departure.
