
New Delhi, March 23: During the upcoming session of the Rajya Sabha on Monday, several important official documents and reports will be presented in the house. Ministers associated with various ministries will submit their department’s papers.
K. Ram Mohan Naidu will represent the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Muralidhar Mohol will present for the Ministry of Power, Shripad Yesso Naik will speak for the Electricity Ministry, Shobha Karandlaje will represent the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, and Dr. L. Murugan will present on behalf of the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs.
Additionally, Maya Narolia and Swati Maliwal will present the fourth report of the Women’s Empowerment Committee. This report for 2025-26 focuses on “Cyber Crimes and Women’s Cyber Security,” involving the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.
The house will also receive the final details of government actions related to the Parliamentary Standing Committee report on Housing and Urban Affairs. This report is based on recommendations for evaluating the implementation of the “Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban).” Kiran Chaudhary and Dr. Sandeep Kumar Pathak will present this report.
Minister of State Sanjay Seth will provide a statement on the status of implementation of recommendations from various reports of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Defence Affairs. This includes topics such as the defense budget, army, navy, air force, welfare of ex-servicemen, defense research, and other significant issues.
During the question hour, responses will also be provided to questions raised by members of the house.
Home Minister Amit Shah will propose a bill to regulate the general rules governing the recruitment and service conditions of Group A General Duty officers and other officials in the Central Armed Police Forces. Meanwhile, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will discuss and propose the withdrawal of a bill related to the allocation of funds from India’s consolidated fund for the fiscal year 2026-27.
