Bangladesh Champions Join the Third Season of WCL

New Delhi, March 23: The World Championship of Legends (WCL) has announced the inclusion of Bangladesh Champions for its third season. The first two seasons of WCL have been remarkable, featuring numerous legendary players in the league.

Some of the biggest names in cricket history have already participated in the tournament, including Yuvraj Singh, AB de Villiers, Brett Lee, Moeen Ali, Mohammad Hafeez, and Chris Gayle. With the addition of Bangladesh Champions, the WCL 2026 promises even more thrilling matches and unforgettable moments. The league is regarded as the second most-watched cricket league globally, giving a new identity to “Legends Cricket” by bringing together seasoned players.

The popularity of WCL has surged rapidly. The first season attracted over 325 million viewers worldwide, while the second season saw viewership rise to 423.1 million. This clearly indicates the immense global appeal of the World Championship of Legends.

Harshit Tomar, founder and CEO of WCL, stated, “For the past two years, we have consistently heard one question — why isn’t the Bangladesh Champions team in WCL? This year, we are excited to fulfill fans’ requests by including Bangladesh Champions in the league.”

Yunus Hasan, Director of JCUK Sports Limited, representing Bangladesh Champions, expressed, “The inclusion of Bangladesh Champions in the World Championship of Legends is a proud and historic moment for cricket fans in Bangladesh and around the world. As a non-resident Bangladeshi living in the UK, this initiative is very close to my heart — it strengthens the bridge between two cricket-loving nations and their global fan bases.” With the addition of Bangladesh Champions, WCL will now feature teams from seven countries, making this season the most competitive and diverse yet. The 2026 season is set to provide fans with a memorable experience.
