Congress Leaders Pay Tribute to Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev on Martyrs Day

New Delhi, March 23: On the occasion of Martyrs’ Day, Congress leaders paid homage to the great revolutionaries Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev, who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the motherland. They emphasized that the nation will always remain indebted to them.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge took to the social media platform ‘X’ to express, “They are always concerned about the new forms of betrayal; we are eager to see the limits of oppression.”

He further stated, “I pay my heartfelt tribute to the immortal revolutionaries, Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev, who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of our motherland. Their unparalleled courage, sacrifice, and dedication will always inspire us. A grateful nation will forever be indebted to their sacrifice.”

Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, also honored the martyrs on ‘X’, writing, “On the martyrdom day of great revolutionaries Sardar Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, and Rajguru, I offer my humble tribute. Their fearless struggle and ultimate sacrifice for the country serve as an inspiration for every Indian. Salute to the brave sons of Mother India. Inquilab Zindabad!”

Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra posted on ‘X’, stating, “On the martyrdom day of immortal martyrs Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, and Rajguru, I respectfully pay my tribute.”

She remarked that Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh and his revolutionary comrades fought tirelessly against inequality, exploitation, poverty, and injustice, sacrificing their lives for the nation’s freedom. Preserving the legacy of our great martyrs is the true tribute we can offer them.

Meanwhile, Amit Chavda, President of the Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee, shared on his social media account ‘X’, “I pay countless tributes on the martyrdom day of immortal revolutionaries Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, and Rajguru, who laid down their lives for the country’s freedom.”
