Nairobi, August 25: The Super 90 League, an exciting fast-paced cricket tournament featuring international stars and franchise-based competitions, will debut in Kenya in November 2026. The capital, Nairobi, will host the fourth season of the league.
This league has partnered with Cricket Kenya for three seasons, during which the fourth, fifth, and sixth seasons of ‘Super 90’ will take place in Nairobi. This partnership aims to establish Kenya as a long-term international destination for ‘Super 90’ and marks a significant step towards expanding the league following its previous seasons in India and Sri Lanka.
In the fourth season of ‘Super 90’, six franchise teams will compete in 18 matches using the unique 90-ball format. This tournament is designed to provide a structured and thrilling cricket experience, blending aggressive batting, strategic gameplay, and entertainment.
A notable feature of the Kenya edition is that each franchise will include two retired Kenyan cricketers. This initiative will allow former players from Kenya to return to competitive cricket and share the field with renowned international cricket stars.
