The 26-year-old batsman amassed 108 runs off just 34 balls, showcasing his remarkable form at the top of the order.
Sharma’s century, completed in just 30 balls, set records for the fastest T20 half-century by an Indian and the quickest century by a player from a full-member nation. His explosive innings played a crucial role in India’s 3-0 series victory over Afghanistan, which included a commanding win by 127 runs.
