New Chandigarh, September 17 (Daily Kiran) : Australia A Women’s team secured a thrilling 7-run victory against India A Women’s team in the third unofficial T20 match held in New Chandigarh on September 17. With this win, Australia A completed a clean sweep of the series, finishing 3-0.
In the opening match of the series, Australia A triumphed by 6 wickets, followed by a second match win by 30 runs, establishing an unbeatable lead.
Winning the toss, Australia A opted to bat first and set a target of 168 runs, losing 5 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. The opening partnership between Tahliya Wilson and Rachel Trenaman contributed 24 runs. Tahliya scored 16 runs off 10 balls before being dismissed, followed shortly by Rachel, who made 20 runs.
