Mumbai, August 7: Kashish Warsi, the National President of the Sufi Foundation, has responded to comments made by Rampur Police Chief Anil Kumar Singh Sisodia. Warsi stated that he would oppose any Muslim involved in cow slaughter. He condemned the allegedly offensive language used by a responsible official and urged everyone to adopt a more respectful and restrained manner of speaking.
In an interview with a news agency, Warsi emphasized that regarding cow slaughter, if any Muslim engages in such acts, he would stand against it. As the National President of the Sufi Foundation, he asserted that according to his beliefs, Hazrat Muhammad advised against consuming beef. He stated that anyone involved in cow slaughter is also opposing their Prophet.
Warsi appealed to Muslims across the country to respect the deep faith that the Hindu community holds towards cows. He stressed the importance of respecting each other’s religious sentiments to maintain social harmony among all communities.
He also clarified that any official or individual using inappropriate or offensive language should be condemned. Warsi expressed regret that such remarks allegedly came from someone in a responsible position. He condemned this incident, emphasizing that the language used by public figures should be dignified and responsible, as their words have a significant impact on society.
Warsi urged everyone to refrain from using language that could hurt the sentiments of individuals or communities. He highlighted that communication should be polite and sensitive to preserve social harmony and mutual respect.
