Kangana Ranaut Discusses Sanatan and Temple Entry Rules for Non-Hindus

Mumbai, March 18: The Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee has made a significant decision regarding the entry of non-Hindus into several temples, including Kedarnath and Badrinath. According to the committee, non-Sanatani individuals will be prohibited from entering these temples. Only those non-Hindus who submit a formal affidavit expressing their faith in Sanatan Dharma will be allowed entry for darshan.

Hemant Dwivedi, the committee’s president, cited actress Sara Ali Khan as an example. He stated that if someone like Sara Ali Khan visits Kedarnath, expresses her faith in Sanatan, and submits an affidavit, she will not be denied darshan. The actress frequently visits Kedarnath and developed a special connection to the site during the filming of her debut movie, “Kedarnath,” in 2018.

On Wednesday, BJP MP and actress Kangana Ranaut spoke to reporters in the Parliament complex. She mentioned that Sara should have no issue expressing her belief in Sanatan Dharma if she wishes to visit Badrinath and Kedarnath. Kangana emphasized that everyone here is a Sanatani, as we are connected to this tradition from birth. She defined ‘Sanatan’ as something that has no beginning or end.

Kangana further stated that while other religions are relatively new, Sanatan is the ultimate truth, eternal and infinite. Therefore, she believes Sara should not feel apprehensive about submitting an affidavit. The actress also commented on the behavior of Rahul Gandhi in Parliament, describing it as inappropriate.

Kangana remarked, “He speaks in a confrontational manner. When someone is giving an interview, he uses inappropriate language that makes others feel very uncomfortable.”
