June 22 Panchang: Auspicious Timing for Important Tasks

New Delhi, June 21: The Panchang holds significant importance in Hindu culture. Before undertaking any auspicious work, travel, investment, or rituals, consulting the Panchang is essential. It is based on the positions of the sun, moon, and other celestial bodies.

June 22, 2026 (Monday) is considered particularly special from a religious and astrological perspective. On this day, the Shukla Paksha Ashtami Tithi of the Jyeshtha month will last until 3:40 PM, after which the Navami Tithi will commence.

Sunrise will occur at 5:46 AM, and sunset will be at 7:11 PM. The moon will rise at 12:49 PM and set at 12:47 AM. According to the Panchang, a significant ‘Nakshatra change’ will take place on June 22, 2026, as the Sun transitions from the Mrigashira Nakshatra to the Rahu Nakshatra, Ardra. The moon will be positioned in the Hasta Nakshatra on this day.

Notably, there will be no Harshan Yoga on June 22, 2026. The Vedic Panchang indicates the absence of Vajra Yoga on this day, while ‘Trigrahi Yoga’ and ‘Lakshmi Yoga’ will be present.

If you are planning any important tasks, the Abhijit Muhurat will be from 11:36 AM to 12:28 PM, which is considered auspicious. This period is regarded as the most favorable and powerful time of the day, ideal for initiating new ventures, performing rituals, or making significant decisions.

However, Rahu Kaal will occur between 7:08 AM and 8:53 AM, Gulika Kaal from 2:05 PM to 3:49 PM, and Yamaghantak Kaal from 12:20 PM to 2:04 PM. Traditional beliefs advise against starting new tasks during these times, as they are considered inauspicious.

On this day, the Sun will be in Gemini, and the Moon will be in Virgo. Additionally, there will be a directional obstacle in the east. According to astrology and Vastu, it is advisable to avoid traveling in this direction. If travel is necessary, certain astrological remedies should be followed.
