Bhopal, August 17: The Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) in Bhopal has announced job openings for short-term Assistant Professors on a contractual basis. This opportunity is aimed at individuals seeking employment in the academic sector.
The vacancies include one position each for Economics, Political Science, History, and Urdu, along with two positions for English. Candidates will be selected based on walk-in interviews and document verification. The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of ₹50,000.
To be eligible for the interview, candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in the relevant subjects (Economics, Political Science, History, Urdu, and English) from a recognized institution with at least 55% marks. Additionally, a B.Ed degree, National Eligibility Test (NET), or State Level Eligibility Test (SLET/SET) is required. A Ph.D. in Education or a related field is also acceptable. Knowledge of Urdu is mandatory for all applicants.
The walk-in interviews for the positions in Economics, Political Science, and History will take place on August 24, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM, at the following address: Shanti Nagar, behind Holy Family School, near Prakash Vidyalaya, Pipeline, Airport Road, Gandhi Nagar, Bhopal-462036 (Madhya Pradesh). The interviews for the Urdu and English positions will be held on August 25. Candidates are advised to arrive on time and bring a hard copy of the completed application form along with original and photocopies of all relevant documents.

Candidates should note that retired teachers (Professors/Associate Professors/Assistant Professors) under the age of 65 from government-recognized institutions are also eligible for the positions mentioned above.
