Job Opportunities at Konkan Railway: Walk-in Interviews on June 23 and 24

Visakhapatnam, June 2: For those seeking employment in the railway sector, Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) has announced various job openings in the Mechanical/Project department on a contract basis for an initial period of one year. A total of 36 positions are available.

The vacancies include 1 Project Engineer (M&P), 1 Project Engineer (Electrical Maintenance), 5 Technicians (Mechanical), 16 Technicians (Electrical), 1 Yard Operations Supervisor, and 12 Shunting Operators.

Candidates will be selected based on a walk-in interview process. This will include initial scrutiny of application forms, group discussions (GD), written tests (if necessary), personal interviews conducted by a designated committee, document verification, and medical examinations. The monthly salary for selected candidates will range from ₹25,700 to ₹57,140, depending on the position.

The walk-in interviews will take place on June 23 for the positions of Project Engineer (M&P), Project Engineer (Electrical Maintenance), Yard Operations Supervisor, and Shunting Operator. On June 24, interviews will be held for Technicians (Mechanical and Electrical) at the Administrative Building, Wagon Repair Workshop, Autonagar, Wadlapudi, Gajuwaka, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

Candidates must register on the day of the walk-in interview at the specified location between 9 AM and 12 PM. Those attending the interview are advised to arrive on time and bring a hard copy of the completed application form along with original documents and photocopies.

Candidates should possess relevant qualifications, including passing the 10th grade, graduation, ITI certification, or a full-time degree/diploma in engineering from a recognized board/university/institution. Additionally, candidates must have the required years of experience in the relevant field.

The maximum age limit for applicants varies by position, set between 50 to 55 years, calculated as of May 1. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
