Mumbai, May 31: In the film and web series industry, some actors choose projects based on big banners, while others prioritize their roles. Actor Jim Sarbh stands out as someone who evaluates a project primarily based on its story.
Currently, he is in the spotlight for his upcoming web series “Made in India: A Titan Story.” In a recent interview, Sarbh shared insights into how he decides on roles and what factors matter most to him.
During a promotional event for the series, Sarbh explained, “My process for selecting any project is quite straightforward. First, I ask myself if I want to be a part of that story. This is the most crucial aspect for me. If the story is good, everything else falls into place. I believe that a strong and engaging narrative is the foundation of any great project.”
He further elaborated, “Once I like the story, I look at my character. I try to understand how significant my role is within the narrative and the potential for acting it offers. I don’t just work for the sake of being part of a big name or project; I also consider what my character contributes to the story. If the role seems challenging and interesting, then I proceed.”
Sarbh also mentioned, “After considering the story and character, I think about the director, producer, and other cast members. The story of ‘Made in India: A Titan Story’ captivated me right from the start. I really liked its concept. It’s not just a simple tale; it has many aspects that can inspire people.”
The actor expressed that he was particularly impressed by the main character and their approach to work. “I appreciated how the story portrays a person who not only thinks about success but also creates a positive and happy environment for those around them. Such principles and values resonate with me personally.”
“Made in India: A Titan Story” will be available for streaming on Amazon MX Player starting June 3.
