
Ranchi, April 23: The Jharkhand Academic Council announced the Class 10 examination results on Thursday around 3 PM. According to the council’s data, this year, a total of 95.27% of candidates have passed. Priyanshu Kumari secured the top position in the state merit list, achieving 498 out of 500 marks, which translates to an impressive 99.60%.
Official statistics reveal that 424,001 students registered for the matriculation examination, with 422,109 actually participating. Out of these, 402,178 students were declared successful. Breaking down the results by category, 226,957 students achieved first division, while 160,673 secured second division, and 14,548 passed in the third division.
Students can check their results on the official websites of the Jharkhand Academic Council at jacresults.com or jac.jharkhand.gov.in. To view their results, students need to click on the matric result link on the homepage and enter their roll code and roll number. Upon pressing the submit button, the scorecard will be displayed on the screen, which students can download for future reference.
In addition to digital platforms, students can also view their results on the official DigiLocker website. The Jharkhand Academic Council clarified that the results published online are for immediate information. Students will receive their original mark sheets and passing certificates through their respective schools.
Following the announcement of the results, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren congratulated all successful students, their parents, and teachers on the social media platform X. He stated, “Congratulations to all students who passed the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) matriculation examination. For those who did not achieve the expected results, do not be disheartened; keep striving for better. The Jharkhand government is committed to ensuring quality education for your bright future. Best wishes for your future endeavors.”
The JAC will send original mark sheets to all schools, which will then distribute them to students. Successful candidates must now contact their educational institutions for the necessary certificates for admission to higher secondary education. The administration ensured all technical arrangements were in place for a smooth release of results, minimizing issues due to website traffic.
