Job Opportunity at IIT Mandi: Apply for 17 Junior Assistant Positions Now

Shimla, April 10: One of India’s prestigious institutions, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), is not just a dream for students but also a career opportunity for many. If you aspire to work at IIT Mandi, the institute has announced the recruitment of 17 Junior Assistant positions through an official notification.

The online application process for these positions has commenced, with the deadline set for April 20. Eligible candidates interested in applying can submit their registration forms on the official website within the stipulated time.

Applicants must hold a graduation or post-graduation degree from a recognized institution or university, with a minimum of 55% marks, relevant to the position. Additionally, candidates should possess basic knowledge of computer applications, along with other required skills and experience.

The maximum age limit for candidates is set between 30 to 35 years, calculated as of April 20. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.

Selection of eligible candidates will be based on shortlisting/screening, written tests/skill tests/trade tests, and document verification. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary at Level-3 of the 7th CPC pay matrix.

While filling out the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online, which is ₹500 for unreserved/EWS, ₹400 for OBC-NCL, and ₹300 for SC/ST/women/divyang/ex-servicemen.

To apply online, candidates should first visit the official IIT Mandi website. After reaching the homepage, click on the active application link for the relevant position. Then, register and log in. Fill in all the required information in the form, upload the necessary documents in the correct size, pay the registration fee, and submit the form. Finally, print a copy of the application for future reference.
