
Lucknow, April 23: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) announced the results for the UP Board 2026 Class 10 (High School) and Class 12 (Intermediate) exams on Thursday. This year, the pass percentage for the Class 10 board exams stood at an impressive 90.42%, while 80.38% of students passed the Class 12 exams. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended his congratulations to all students.
CM Yogi praised the students and their parents, stating that this achievement reflects the students’ relentless hard work, discipline, and determination.
In a post on the social media platform X, he said, “Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all students who have succeeded in the High School and Intermediate board exams conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad. This success symbolizes your tireless efforts, discipline, and unwavering resolve.”
He also encouraged students to continue achieving new heights with the same dedication, self-confidence, and positive energy in the future, praying to Goddess Saraswati for their success.
The results for the High School and Intermediate exams of 2026 have been declared. Once again, girls have excelled, with Kashish Verma from Sitapur and Anshika Verma from Barabanki jointly securing the top position in the Class 10 exams with 97.83%. In the Class 12 exams, Shikha Verma from Sitapur topped with 97.60%.
The board examinations were conducted across 8,033 centers in all 75 districts of the state from February 18 to March 12.
Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh announced that along with the results, the list of top scorers has also been released. The state government will honor students who have performed exceptionally well at the state level.
It is noteworthy that the UP Board 2026 Class 10 and Class 12 exams were successfully conducted in two shifts: the first from 08:30 AM to 11:45 AM and the second from 02:00 PM to 05:15 PM.
