JD Vance Warns Iran: No More Tolerance for Threats to Global Economy

Budapest, April 7: In a statement made in Hungary’s capital, US Vice President JD Vance emphasized that Iran will no longer be allowed to threaten the global economy with its intentions.

Vance expressed hope that a response from Iran could arrive by tonight. “I expect them to respond appropriately,” he stated.

The Vice President is in Budapest for a bilateral meeting with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. He took to the social media platform ‘X’ to assert, “Iran will not be permitted to harm the global economy with their intentions.”

Vance conveyed confidence that discussions are ongoing and a response from Iran is likely within the set timeframe. He reiterated that the US has means at its disposal that have not yet been employed. “President Donald Trump may decide to use them if Iran does not change its stance,” he warned.

He added, “What America and Hungary represent, under the leadership of Prime Minister Orbán and President Trump, is the defense of Western civilization… the idea that our foundation is built on a distinct Christian civilization and values.”

On the other hand, President Donald Trump reiterated his threats, stating that on Tuesday, an entire civilization in Iran could be destroyed. He posted on the media platform Truth Social, “Tonight, an entire civilization will end, never to be brought back.”

While he expressed that he does not wish for such an outcome, he acknowledged the possibility. Trump also claimed that there is now a chance for a complete regime change, suggesting that this could lead to the emergence of more capable and less radical thinkers in power. He expressed hope that if this change occurs, it could lead to something truly remarkable.
