Jammu and Kashmirs LG Manoj Sinha Celebrates PM Modis Birthday with Children

Srinagar, September 17 (Daily Kiran) : On September 17, Jammu and Kashmir’s Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha celebrated Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday at child care institutions “Palash” and “Parisha” in Srinagar. He marked the occasion by distributing school bags, sports kits, and sweets to the children.

During his visit, Sinha interacted with the children and assessed the facilities provided for their well-being. He also toured the Children’s Hospital in Bemina, spending time with hospitalized kids and wishing them a speedy recovery.

Speaking to reporters, Sinha noted, “The Prime Minister’s birthday is being celebrated nationwide. The government has outlined an extensive program for the entire month. Today, we chose to celebrate here with sick children.” He mentioned that the initiative involved various officials, including the principal and medical superintendent of the medical college and health secretary.

Sinha expressed pride in the nation’s progress, stating that India, once categorized among the ‘Fragile Five’ economies, has become one of the world’s top five economies due to the Prime Minister’s efforts over the past decade.

In another statement, he remarked, “Today marks the birthday of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He has completed 25 years as a leader of both a state and the country, which is why the Indian government has scheduled programs throughout the month.” He emphasized that the country is fortunate to have Modi’s leadership.

On social media platform X, Sinha shared, “I celebrated Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday with the children at ‘Palash’ and ‘Parisha’ in Srinagar. It was a delightful experience to interact with them, distribute school bags and sports kits, and review the facilities provided for their well-being.” He also mentioned his visit to the Bemina Children’s Hospital, where he spent quality time with the children and wished them a swift recovery.

Sinha announced the launch of the “Seva Sankalp Abhiyan,” a month-long celebration of selfless service running from September 17 to October 17, honoring the Prime Minister’s 25 years of public service.

In another post, he conveyed heartfelt birthday wishes to PM Modi, stating, “Your visionary leadership inspires us all in building a self-reliant, developed, and progressive ‘New India.’ I wish you a long, healthy, and energetic life.”

Under the “Seva Sankalp Abhiyan,” 12 service programs will be conducted in the union territory from September 17 to October 17. These include “Service Day,” cleanliness drives, blood donation camps, medical camps, “One Tree in Mother’s Name,” assistance for the differently-abled, and youth programs.

Sinha urged citizens to actively participate and dedicate themselves to selfless community service.
