
New Delhi, September 17 (Daily Kiran) : In a significant event marking Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, New Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Delhi BJP President Harsh Malhotra participated in a blood donation camp. This initiative aims to collect 2,500 units of blood, with thousands of residents expected to contribute.
Speaking to reporters, Chief Minister Gupta expressed her commitment to public service, stating, “Inspired by the Prime Minister’s emphasis on serving the community, we have launched several government initiatives today, including this blood donation camp. Additionally, we are introducing a government platform for organ donation, and I will personally be the first donor on this portal.”
Gupta highlighted the importance of the camp, saying it is dedicated to PM Modi’s vision of public and national service. She added, “Today, on PM Modi’s birthday, we have organized this blood donation camp. Our goal is to collect 2,500 units of blood, reflecting our gratitude for his guidance in serving the nation and its people.”
The Chief Minister also mentioned that a special havan was conducted at Baba Shyam Khatu Temple, where prayers were offered for the Prime Minister’s long life and good health. “We believe the best tribute we can pay to the Prime Minister, who has devoted himself to serving the country, is to adopt his path and work accordingly,” she said.
In a post on social media platform X, Gupta shared details of the havan, which included participation from 17,000 trustees and a recitation of the Sundarkand by differently-abled children, all wishing for PM Modi’s long and successful life. She concluded with a prayer for the Prime Minister to receive continuous energy, strength, and success in all his endeavors for the nation.
