Jalandhar Warriors Ready for Challenges in Sher-e-Punjab T20 League: Captain Prabhsimran Singh

Chandigarh, August 21: The inaugural edition of the Sher-e-Punjab T20 League is set to kick off on August 30 at the I.S. Bindra Stadium in Chandigarh. Jalandhar Warriors’ captain, Prabhsimran Singh, is excited about the tournament. He believes that his team has been well-formed and is ready to face the challenges ahead.

Prabhsimran stated, “I am thrilled to lead the Jalandhar Warriors in the Sher-e-Punjab T20 League. Preparations are in full swing. We have selected a strong team during the auction. All players are working hard in practice sessions. Everyone is putting in extra effort. We are eagerly waiting for the tournament to begin.”

The right-handed wicketkeeper-batsman emphasized the league’s significance, saying, “This is a great platform for young players. They will have the opportunity to share the dressing room with IPL and Indian players. They can learn from their experiences, understand the demands of professional cricket, and improve their game. Playing alongside experienced players boosts confidence significantly.”

Prabhsimran also believes that fan support will enhance the excitement of the tournament. Punjab’s cricket fans are known for their passion, and he hopes that the stands will be filled during the league.

He urged, “I request all fans to come in large numbers and support their favorite teams and players. Their support energizes us. We are genuinely excited to play in front of them.”

Although Prabhsimran Singh has yet to debut for the Indian team, he regularly plays as a wicketkeeper-batsman for Punjab Kings in the IPL. He has scored 1,815 runs at a strike rate of 156.33, including one century and 13 half-centuries in 65 matches for the team.
