Jaipur, August 21: A violent incident during a government school inspection in the Ramapura-Kanwarpura area of Jaipur has ignited a political uproar. The CJP (Citizens for Justice and Peace) team was reportedly attacked, leading to numerous posts on social media regarding the event.
CJP founder Abhijit Dipeke expressed his concerns on X, stating, “What is happening in Rajasthan? BJP members have assaulted Ashutosh Ranka and CJP volunteers. How can the Rajasthan police allow such attacks?” In another post, he claimed that Ashu was attacked by BJP goons in Rajasthan, resulting in injuries to him and other CJP volunteers.
CJP spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka detailed the incident on X, saying, “Today, all limits of decency were crossed.” He revealed that the school has been operating in a cow shed for several years. When their team arrived for inspection, they faced open violence and stone-pelting. Car windows were shattered, stones were thrown at the team, and their clothes were torn. One team member was physically assaulted.
Ranka accused Education Minister Madan Dilawar of inciting the violence. He stated, “Madan Dilawar seems to prefer children studying in a cow shed over fixing the school. You have sent goons to shame Rajasthan in front of the entire country, but we are not afraid of this hooliganism. The school must be fixed.”
Opposition leader Tikaram Julie also commented on the situation, saying, “This is the BJP’s fault. No one should be prevented from protesting, and such actions should not occur. The state of schools should be made public. You need to outline your action plan for what you intend to do.”
